GREEN BREAKFAST BOOSTER SMOOTHIE

Ever needed a boost in the morning? This Green Breakfast Booster Smoothie is the perfect breakfast that is filled with energy. This smoothie is packed with healthy fruits that you’re sure going to love.
A high level of potassium is found in Kiwi’s which helps keep our electrolytes in balance. It also has a high content of vitamin C which has been proven to boost the immune system. Kiwi’s also prevent constipation & other intestinal problems due to their great source of fiber.
Then you have spinach which have an excellent source of vitamins C, A, & K, vitamins B6, B9, & E, as well as a good source of potassium, folic acid, calcium, iron, magnesium, carotenoids & dietary fiber.
Green Breakfast Booster Smoothie Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons rolled oats
- 1 kiwi
- 1 cup spinach
- ½ teaspoon vanilla essence
- 1 banana
- 1 cup almond milk
Method:

- Peel & cut the kiwi.
- Peel & cut the banana – this can be frozen if preferred.
- For this recipe I am using baby spinach but feel free to use swiss chard instead.
- I am also using rolled oats. Rolled oats are rolled extra thin & milled finer than regular oats, they are softer, have a milder flavour and they have already been partially cooked.
- I’m using unsweetened almond milk – feel free to use sweetened almond milk or cow’s milk if you are not lactose intolerant &/or vegan.
- Add the spinach, banana, kiwi, rolled oats, vanilla essence & almond milk to a blender.
- Blend for a few seconds until it forms a liquid.
- Pour the Green Breakfast Booster Smoothie into a serving glass.
- Top it with some rolled oats & add a slice of kiwi to the rim of the glass (optional).
- Serve chilled & enjoy.
