Make authentic Creamy Tartar Sauce with this foolproof recipe. Packed with rich traditional flavor, step-by-step photos, and cooking tips by Denisiya on EatMee Recipes.

Add the mayonnaise to a bowl.
Add to it the lemon juice, salt & the pickle juice. I have found that using the juice of an onion pickle works really well. This way you get the onion taste as well without having to add chopped onions to the sauce. Adding chopped onions to the sauce leaves it clumpy whilst the onion pickle juice leaves the sauce with a creamy texture & a flavorful tartar sauce. (Brown or White Pickled Onion Juice may be used).

Mix well.
Refrigerate for one hour (60 minutes).

Serve with seafood dishes. (Tempura Crumbed Calamari, Fish & Chips, Squid Heads, Mussels, Oysters).
